Code as Structure
Python, C++, and web projects where state, rules, and feedback have to stay clear.
Computer Science + Design at UIC
I am Momen, a CS + Design student at UIC. I care about the space where code, layout, product thinking, and small interaction details meet.
Theme Lab
Studio Light
I am drawn to projects where the logic and the interface have to work together. I enjoy the problem-solving side of computer science, but I also care a lot about hierarchy, pacing, accessibility, and whether the final thing feels comfortable for a real person to use.
My work has grown through class projects, design studies, and products I am building on my own. Sometimes that means debugging a C++ program. Sometimes it means making a poster system feel intentional. Lately, it also means building AI tools that help people make better creative decisions.
Python, C++, and web projects where state, rules, and feedback have to stay clear.
Layouts, color, type, and interaction details that make ideas easier to read.
Projects that ask better questions about data, trust, and human impact.
Experience
A mix of product work, client design, AI evaluation, and CS + Design study that keeps pulling me toward practical, human-centered software.
I am building an AI-powered design workspace from research and wireframes through interface design, backend integration, deployment, and iteration.
I designed dashboard workflows for logistics teams, turning stakeholder feedback into prototypes, clearer navigation, and more usable internal tools.
I evaluate AI-generated responses for quality, consistency, and user experience while using structured testing to support model improvement.
I create branding, UI mockups, social graphics, and promotional assets with a focus on clear visual systems and client feedback.
Computer Science
Games, tools, and data work that helped me practice state, feedback, structure, and clearer user flows.
A quiz experience built around branching logic, readable feedback, and results that feel connected to the choices a person made.
A secure internal dashboard for managing driver settlements, documents, payment tracking, and administrative logistics workflows.
A comparative quiz and research project that looks at how human and AI responses can reflect assumptions, framing, and bias.
A C++ data project that looks at maternal mortality information and turns raw values into trends a reader can follow.
A poster-focused creative tool shaped around quick starts, visual experimentation, and a workflow that feels closer to making than filling out a form.
Design
Studies in color, typography, image-making, composition, and the visual language that shapes digital experiences.
Poster studies where I worked through hierarchy, type, image placement, and color relationships across bold compositions.
Image-making experiments that mix computational thinking with collage, photography, handmade marks, and layered composition.
Color studies that explore harmony, proportion, palette extraction, and how small shifts can change the whole feeling of a piece.
Vector and Procreate work shaped for web details, interface moments, and clean graphic systems that can scale across uses.
A growing set of type explorations focused on rhythm, contrast, readability, and the way letterforms change the tone of an interface or poster.
Founder + Product Builder
A connected design-intelligence workspace for moving from critique to stronger creative decisions.
I am building FrameKind from product strategy through interface design and implementation. It helps creators analyze screens, URLs, and front-end work; talk through tradeoffs with an AI coach; generate focused Studio directions; review portfolios; and keep projects, brand context, notes, and usage in one place.
